The specially developed trowel is perfect for the extreme loads during passing and shooting. Our focus during development was also on the control of the puck. In the end, we created one of the hardest hockey blades on the market.
For the filling of the blade we do not use the usual filling materials. Instead, Vikings Hockey uses high strength PMI filling materials which are also used in the aerospace industry. This material is designed for the aerospace industry and convinces with its high temperature resistance and durability. Even after heavy use, the material retains its original shape and the feeling when shooting and passing remains unchanged.
The whole thing is sheathed in T-800 Carbon from Toray.
T-800 fibers can withstand tensile strengths of up to 5,500 MPa.
Toray as the technology and market leader in carbon fiber products, is known for producing the highest quality fibers.
Tests on the strength of our blades have shown an increase in durability of up to 350kgf compared to other blades with a value of 280kgf.
The perfect balance in the blade also ensures a balanced hitting speed and reduces fatigue.
